Baby Friendly Day Out: Bashley Manor nr Christchurch

Sammy Miller's New Milton
Looking for a great FREE activity with the kids? This baby friendlly day out is just the thing.
Me and froggy love road testing baby days out and after we found this place we couldn't wait to share it with you and the other fun loving parents at The country kids link up.
Bashley Manor Tea rooms is located outside of Christchurch next door to the famous Sammy Miller motorbike museum.

They have a simple roadside cafe menu with prices for breakfast or lunch starting at £3.25.
Doesn't sound like much of a day out yet? There a few things (fury and feathered) that might change your mind. Especially if, like us, you are enchanted by the idea of converting some of your garden into a space for rearing animals.

The fields surrounding the tea room and car park are home to lots of lovely farm animals.

They have ducks, goats, turkeys, chickens, quail, alpaca and donkeys.

These pigmy goats roaming in a pen right next to the outdoor play area.
This massive norfolk bronze is their paddock mate.
They had an inspiring array of make do and mend animal shelters.
Upcycled vintage farm equipment
Restored Romany Gypsy wagon top caravans
The tea rooms open up onto a courtyard of shops, plants and this XL water feature.

And  all this is yours for the price of a mug of tea.

Why not see my other local attraction recommendations for more family fun in the New Forest.

Little Bloom- Cloth Nappy reviews

If you are a newbie in cloth its hard to know what to buy. I've been using  Cloth Nappies  for 16 months with my first born, and am preparing to have two in cloth when my daughter arrives in May. You could say I'm somewhat of cloth nappy pro. I've moved on from my start up stash, and invest in nappies that will see us through til froggy potty trains, and ideally ones his baby sister can use afterwards too! Pocket nappies are great for this purpose and this week I'm reviewing the little bloom nappies You can grab little bloom nappies on  amazon  from as little as £2.89 delivered. So they are a cheap option but are they cheerful enough to do the job?
